Cara Pengobatan AIDS, Bisa Untuk Mencegah Penularan HIV Dari Ibu Hamil Ke Janin

Inilah cara pengobatan AIDS yang dapat dilakukan.
Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) merupakan penyakit yang berkembang dari Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) yang tidak cepat ditangani.

Selain itu, ARV juga dapat menghambat perburukan infeksi oportunistik, meningkatkan kualitas hidup penderita HIV, dan menurunkan jumlah virus (viral load) dalam darah sampai tidak terdeteksi.
Pengobatan HIV dan AIDS melalui ARV dapat digunakan untuk ibu hamil agar mencegah penularan HIV ke janin.
Sebagai catatan, pengobatan ini harus dilakukan rutin dan diminum sesuai jadwal, di waktu yang sama setiap hari agar perkembangan virus dapat dikendalikan.
Adapun daftar obat untuk pengobatan HIV dan AIDS tersebut di antaranya:
1. Inhibitor Transkripsi Balik Nukleosida (NRTI)
Obat ini dapat menghambat penggandaan virus dan meperlambat penyebaran HIV dalam tubuh.
Berikut rincian obat yang termasuk sebgai NRTI:
Abacavir (Ziagen, ABC)
Didanosin (Videx, dideoxyinosine, ddI)
Emtricitabine (Emtriva, FTC)
Lamivudin (Epivir, 3TC)
Stavudin (Zerit, d4T)
Tenofovir (Viread, TDF)
Zalcitabine (Hivid, ddC)
Zidovudine (Retrovir, ZDV atau AZT)
Efek samping yang ditimbulkan dari penggunaan NRTI berbeda-beda, tergantung pada individu.
Ada baiknya, penggunaan NRTI berdasarkan saran dan informasi dari dokter.
2. Inhibitor Protease (PI)
Obat ini disetujui oleh FDA karena dapat menghambat repilkasi virus pada tingkat selanjutnya dalam siklus virus.
Obat yang termasuk dalam Protease Inhibitors yakni:
Amprenavir (Agenerase, APV)
atazanavir (Reyataz, ATV)
Fosamprenavir (Lexiva, FOS)
Indinavir (Crixivan, IDV)
Lopinavir (Kaletra, LPV/r)
Ritonavir (Norvir, RIT)
Saquinavir (Fortovase, Invirase, SQV)
Sama seperti NRTI, efek samping yang ditimbulkan oleh obat PI berbeda-beda setiap individu.
Penderita AIDS wajib berkonsultasi dengan dokter terlebih dahulu sebelum mengonsumsi obat PI.
3. Dolutegravir
Dikutip dari laman KemkesPada bulan Juli 2018 WHO telah merekomendasikan dolutegravir yang merupakan obat dari golongan kelas penghambat integrase atau Integrase Inhibitor (INIs).
Dolutegravir dapat digunakan untuk pengobatan HIV sebagai alternatif pada terapi yang menggunakan efavirenz.
Cara kerja Dolutegravir yakni dengan menghambat integrase, enzim yang dibutuhkan oleh HIV untuk memasukkan virus ke dalam DNA dari sel T CD4 pejamu.
Dolutegravir menghambat pekerjaan enzim ini, dengan akibat DNA HIV tidak dipadukan pada DNA sel induk.
HIV menulari sel tersebut, tetapi tidak mampu menggandakan diri.
